Supporting Families of Babies Gone Over the Rainbow
Sharon Russell and Denise Devlin started Angelversary in memory of their boys Lucas Andrew Russell and Zakk Anthony Devlin. Lucas and Zakk were both born with Trisomy 18 Edwards Syndrome. Lucas and Zakk are the inspiration for Angelversary. In their name we want to continue to affect the world in a positive way by allowing families of angels to celebrate their wonderful children. We know the heartache of losing a child and the joy of being blessed with our babies too. We want to celebrate their journey and honour their birthday and angelversaries - always and forever. We will share the tough times when missing our babies feels like you can not breath, we offer a hand of friendship to laugh and to cry together. We know the many faces of Angel Parents.
Angelversary is a non-profit organisation and raises funds to support families on our Angel List. Angelversary sends little reminders to angel families of their angels on big occasions, birthdays, angelversaries and holidays like Christmas and Easter. We give families a place to talk about their Angels and relive those precious memories. We have also given families a chance to create memories by way of a 4d scan when their babies have been given a fatal diagnosis like Trisomy 18. These families spent time with the babies watching them play,suck their thumbs, blow kisses and float around in the womb. Precious time with their babies and the photos and videos to have for eternity.
